First hours in the White House
Now that President Barack Obama and the First Family are in the White House it’s time for me to make the inner changes I need made within myself for a brighter future for my family.

The greater part of yesterday editing on my MacBook Pro. I worked on several different sequences for my new fusion film, Pulp Fusion: The Resurrection of Times of Serious Rogers. The film is based on my story for “Nanny & the Professional” but features video vignettes from five of my films. It’s actually quite ingenius, I say to myself as I edit and smile. I may have a trailer up soon, but in the meantime you can find our more at www.myspace.com/seriousrogersfusionfilm.
Back to editing talk: I made rough cuts of five or six sequences and, more importantly, I began writing the visual voiceover. What the hell is that, you ask? It’s the conversion of dialog lines, formerly reserved for a voiceover, into an actual sequence — shot and edited into the film. Writing the visual voiceover truly helped me shape the direction of the film. It’s going amazingly well, and this is just the first draft. When I go back to tighten up the dialog it should improve another few percentage points.
As you can see from the title of my blog page, or maybe you cannot if your reeder is set differently, I’ve gone back to my original title: 1001 Positively True Stories…. I think it says it all about my life.

Takk
Listening to my Sigur Rós CD now. They are an amazing bunch of folks from Iceland. Takk is probably their most accessible CD to date. I’m very happy to have found them. I’ll talk more about it in my blog, “The Search for Sigur Rós.” You’re probably hearing their music on a daily basis without even knowing it’s them to whom you are rocking.
