It’s minutes before 10PM and I’m about to make a pot of coffee. Why? Because I am not happy with how the DVD’s that came out for the October 19th airing of the first episode of Broken Hearts Club. The discs weren’t bad but I noticed a slight strobing effect with each character’s movement. I don’t know what the technical name for it is. Chances are, other folks wouldn’t notice so much. It was actually quite subtle and I’ve seen worse on TV.  But I noticed it and it bugged me.

So I decided to try something a little different. And you know what, it worked. Much better. Not strobing and the colors were more vivid and clear. It’s definitely the way to go.

So I’m going to redo all six episodes the same way. I think I can get two episodes for each media.I made a promise to ship of the episodes tomorrow so there’s no getting around it. Besides, I need the advanced time to work out any kinks just in case there are problems at the satellite. There are so many points of failure in the delivery process it ain’t even funny.
